The Studio Register · Fall / Winter · Vol. I

A quiet record of the objects we return to.

The pieces the studio is specifying this season — warmer light, heavier cloth, deeper wood. Each is placed on your behalf through the studio's trade accounts. All are here because they last past the season they arrive in.

Unlacquered brass cabinet pull on cream paper background

Hardware · Kitchen

Kennedy pull, unlacquered brass

Rejuvenation · from $17 Vendor retail · Aug 2026

Chosen for the Portland Craftsman kitchen. Left unlacquered so it darkens with the hand — the finish improves with use, which is how we prefer things.

Aged brass wall sconce with milk-glass shade

Lighting · Wall

Trask sconce, aged brass

Rejuvenation · from $459 Vendor retail · Aug 2026

We keep three of these in permanent stock for hallway and vanity moments. The glass warms the light in a way LED cannot mimic — kind on faces, kind at night.

Rhea chandelier with textured brass detail

Lighting · Ceiling · New this Season

Rhea chandelier

Rejuvenation, Fall '26 · by inquiry Vendor retail · Aug 2026

Historic silhouette, textural detail. The one we're specifying over dining tables this season — it holds the room the way the old ones did, and reads warm even before the lamps turn on.

Cream linen slipcovered chair with oak legs

Furniture · Seating

Andes chair, linen slipcover

West Elm · from $1,299 Vendor retail · Aug 2026

Slipcover comes off; frame stays honest. The piece we specify when the house needs something soft that will still look right in ten years — and still fit through the door.

Marled herringbone stripe pillow in warm neutrals

Textiles · Cushion · New this Season

Marled Herringbone Stripe pillow

West Elm, Fall '26 · by inquiry Vendor retail · Aug 2026

Fair-trade woven, warm-neutral stripe. We layer two on a linen sofa in October and leave them there through March — the room gets heavier without getting darker.

Placed through the studio
Folded colorblock plaid throw in warm tones

Textiles · Throw · New this Season

Colorblock Plaid throw

West Elm, Fall '26 · by inquiry Vendor retail · Aug 2026

Fair-trade woven plaid, folded at the arm of the reading chair. The piece the client picks up first when the light goes low. We keep one on hand in every full-house handover.

Placed through the studio
Folded flax linen quilt on cream surface

Textiles · Bed

Belgian flax linen quilt, flax

Pottery Barn · from $229 Vendor retail · Aug 2026

Undyed flax that holds its own colour and its own weight. We fold it at the foot of the guest bed in every full-house project — the room feels finished the moment it arrives.

Placed through the studio
Stack of natural-linen napkins on cream tabletop

Textiles · Table

Signature linen table linens

Williams Sonoma Home · by inquiry Vendor retail · Aug 2026

Softens with every wash. We keep two sets in every project handover box — one for use, one for the drawer. The colour is right in candlelight, which is when they earn their keep.

Placed through the studio
Astrid sconce with brass arm and shade

Lighting · Wall

Astrid sconce

Schoolhouse, Portland · $299 Vendor retail · Aug 2026

Made in Portland. Simple, hardwired, and correct. We use them in pairs above nightstands and along stair walls — quieter than the Trask, and better for smaller rooms.

Placed through the studio
Round aged-brass framed mirror on a plaster wall

Mirror · Wall · Hall

Round metal framed mirror, aged brass

Rejuvenation · from $499 Vendor retail · Aug 2026

A round brass mirror the studio returns to for entries, powder rooms, and above dressers. The frame is heavy enough to hold a wall, the finish darkens honestly with time. We specify the 30-inch above narrow consoles and the 36-inch when the room can hold it.

Placed through the studio
Isaac pendant in natural brass hanging against a cream wall

Lighting · Pendant · Kitchen

Isaac pendant, natural brass

Schoolhouse · from $399 Vendor retail · Aug 2026

Hand-spun in Schoolhouse's North Portland factory, the Isaac is the quiet pendant we hang over kitchen islands when the room asks for one light, not three. The natural brass warms with age and reads gold in the evening. We prefer the eight-inch shade paired with a matte white ceiling.

Placed through the studio
Oatmeal cashmere throw folded on a bed

Textiles · Throw · Bed

Cashmere throw, oatmeal

Pottery Barn · $229 Vendor retail · Aug 2026

The one throw the studio keeps in every guest room and on every primary bed. Mongolian cashmere in an oatmeal that reads warm against oak and cool against oxblood — hardworking without ever announcing it. Machine-washable on cold, dries flat in an afternoon.

The register is refreshed each season. Objects leave when we stop specifying them; that is the only rule.

Pricing is shown as of the date noted on each card and reflects the vendor's published retail at that time. Vendor pricing, colourways, and availability change with the season; the studio quotes final pricing at the time of order, inclusive of shipping and applicable taxes. Pieces marked Placed through the studio are sourced on your behalf through Maison de Thu's trade accounts with Williams Sonoma, Inc. (Rejuvenation, West Elm, Pottery Barn, Williams Sonoma Home) and Hudson Valley Lighting Group (Schoolhouse).
